The Anglican church is a Christian church that has helped people to follow Jesus seriously for almost five hundred years. It is the ancient Christian faith as it was received in the Church of England. But Anglicanism has grown far beyond the Church of England. Anglicans can be found across the globe on every continent in thriving, praying, mission oriented churches worshiping in a multitude of different languages.

It is a church that is both contemporary and traditional; it is Catholic and Protestant; it is liturgical and flexible; it brings us into community for fellowship and support and it nourishes our souls in prayer; it looks back to the ancient church and looks forward to the future church.
